Show Light Engineering is a class at Full Sail University's Show Production & Touring degree program. This is where we are introduced to the wonders of intelligent lighting fixtures and consoles. The console that was mainly used in the class was the GrandMA Ultralight. It has recently been changed to the GrandMA2 Ultralight. There is a lab room with six of these consoles, each with a computer that runs ESP Vision to visualize the rig as we program our shows.
Here are some examples of my work as a Lighting Director for concert labs and open house tours at Full Sail. Most of these shows are "busked" (ran on the fly), so it's difficult for me to take pictures with both hands on the console. These pictures and videos were done by others or done by me when I had a few minutes.
